The Wooden House is in a remote location on the western side of the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides. It is in a stunning location with panoramic views of the Atlantic and St Kilda. The house is made of solid Nordic pine with over a mile of sustainable wood used during the build. The house has its own croft which goes down to the sea (tenancy by separate negotiation).
Primary school and secondary school is via a free bus. Public transport is available to Stornoway but may have to be booked. Supermarket (Tesco) will deliver groceries.
The main hospital is in Stornoway but the local surgery is a 20 minute drive away and the area is serviced by local first responders.
This is an ideal family or second home. It also has great potential for B & B.
